With a compelling track record across diverse mid-sized sales and distribution operations, and over 7 years in supply chain & logistics industry, Brian has established himself as a contributor to bottom line success. Offering expertise in accounting operations, cross functional team management, optimization of resources and streamlining profitability, Brian is TrueVert CFO and directly assists strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

Tell me about how you got into your line of work? I have done so many different types of work over the years from Restaurants, Construction, Machining, Telephone Sales, Entrepreneurial small business and Accounting. All of these apply to what I do today.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why? Swirly blue and green and gold. Where a crystal blue ocean laps up against a golden beach on the edge of a mystical mountain forest. (I always wanted to be in the Swiss Family Robinson).

What’s someone you admire, and why? J.R.R Tolkien because he created the most detailed and amazing fantasy ever.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? I am a very good body surfer.

Tell me three pet peeves. Excuses; Traffic; Closed mindedness.

Influenced by his French-Canadian origins and motivated by his love for nature Georges founded and launched True-Vert® in 2010 from the ground-up. Since then, Georges has put his heart and soul, developing and researching Living Walls system for interior and exterior, while directly cultivating client’s relations and growing the True-Vert® business.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job at True-Vert®? My experience in customer service and my ability to connect with people. The product knowledge building confidence in customers.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? I’m French Canadian, fluent in French and very good in Spanish – most people don’t know where I’m from. I live in Puerto Rico from 1971 to 1976 – I scuba dive then

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why? Blue – I’m a water sign; calm and joyous submerged in my surroundings and able to read the mood and be in the waves

Someone you admire, and why: Roger Federer. I like tennis – I wish I could play as smoothly as he does. He is the sign of an accomplish individual – comfortable in his ability – maintaining consistent performance and excelling in the hard situation
Always showing humility and reverence to his supporters.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? The people who know me will say my attitude, but I like to think my best skill is being able to adapt to the situation and execute. This is especially true in the rental business as plans change constantly requiring a cool head to prevail.

Tell me something that have inspired you about working TrueVert? Watching the creation and maintaining of so many Living Walls has pushed me to view living art in a new light. It works on other people too as I tell them what I do, show them a picture, and their eyes light up with wonder. This is the effect our work has on people and I hope it never stops.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? This “talent” only appears around people I know, but I can recite the entirety of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody by heart.

Tell me three pet peeves:  Not having a plan; Having too many plans.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Administration and many years of experience in accounting, human resources and customer service.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? I am detail oriented, organized and am bilingual, English and Spanish.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? Dancing.

“My current role at TrueVert has to do with anything in regards to the sales of our products and services. From customer acquisition through to managing customer communication and expectations, my role is all about understanding what the customer needs/wants then finding what we can offer that would best meet their desire.”

I started my professional career as a sales coordinator for a small family owned floral company out of North County San Diego. This is now the next step in my growth as a professional.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? The best skill I bring to this position is the ability to interact productively with others in an effort to reach a common goal. Additionally, I have a good ability to focus intently on a task until its completion, as well as pick up and synthesize new material and information very effectively. Above all, I am a team player, never willing to place my own needs and desires above those of the team.

Tell me something that have inspired you about working TrueVert? I am inspired by everyone’s willingness and desire to do what it takes to grow this company to what it has the potential to become.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? I have solid hand eye coordination and am ambidextrous.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why? Blue – white because i like to bring a level of neutrality and balance to any situation.

Tell me three pet peeves: People that don’t pull their own weight; When someone unconsciously expects you to read their mind (bad communication); When I can hear you chewing food from across the room.

Someone you admire, and why: I admire Elon Musk for his ability to dedicate himself to establishing solutions to humanities biggest problems.
