A passionate company: Our talented & experienced team delivers amazing results.

Georges Fortier

Personal Quote: I felt a need to soften the building and connect the outside to inside.

“I’m responsible for this company and I stand proudly behind it. I know first hand how much details and passionate work goes into each and every one of our living walls and I am so appreciative of what we do every day.”

Influenced by his French-Canadian origins and motivated by his love for nature Georges founded and launched True-Vert® in 2010 from the ground-up. Since then, Georges has put his heart and soul, developing and researching Living Walls system for interior and exterior, while directly cultivating client’s relations and growing the True-Vert® business.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job at True-Vert®? I strive to always find ways to improve upon existing Living Wall applications to create innovating mounting and irrigation system techniques and new Living Wall garden trends.

Personal motto: I believe that Living Walls have the power to positively impact our daily life ecosystem, and this philosophy is the driving force behind True-Vert®.

“Being at True-Vert® has allowed me to combine my love and experience in art and gardening while staying true to my intentions.”

While constantly exploring new mediums that are more sustainable for this planet, Jana strives to create beautiful atmospheres through whatever materials are accessible and abundant in nature. The last few years she worked in gardening medicinal herbs given much her much insight to working with plants especially into the process of growing from a seed to growing, harvesting., & different extraction methods has given Jana so much respect to plants and what they provide in so many ways. Jana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from School of Visual Arts, New York.

Tell me something that has inspired you about working at TrueVert®?  I get inspired from walking around the garden and observing the vibrant colors, shapes, and breathing fresh air from plants. Nature never ceases to amaze me with its intelligence, resilience, and its consciousness fulfill its purpose. Working at TrueVert® has inspired me to having a symbiotic relationship with plants where I co create with nature as an expression of beauty.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? I’ve recently been focusing on creating art through Heliography (using sunlight through a lens.) We have such an abundance of sunlight in California and I love being able to use it as resource for creating art. It’s a real meditation practice for me as allows me to focus on my relationship with the sun and the object I am working on. It reminds me that we are in constant flux with the planets and the universe.

Tell me three pet peeves. Does traffic count? Rushing; Litter.
